Born and raised in Barcelona, Kidō is but the product of a childhood full of manga, 80’s anime and drawing mixed with local libraries and drowned in the sea of underground subcultures that this city is. Mesmerized by the Japanese, bdsm and satanic cultures, she attended regularly cabaret shows and shibari or suspension sessions as a teenager (frecuently a huge inspiration for her art).
When she was 20 she decided she would turn her art into her career and she enrolled and graduated as illustrator in Escola Joso, an art academy in Barcelona. She usually uses all her cultural expertise on her past and present obsession for the Freak & Bizzarre subculture to create pieces that fit exclusively the feminine figure into eroguro, latex, shibari and satanist, Cristian and vampiric symbology.
She was first published in 2019 as co-writer and back cover illustrator for “La Chica del Templo”, one of the very few eroguro comic books of the whole Spanish scene.
